Mark Harborth

A Texas transplant, Mark lives in New York City and has been involved with theatre all his life, in one form or another. He has been an actor, a stage manager; he has designed lights, set, costumes, sound and props. His passion, and what he excels at, is directing and producing. He has over 30 years of experience as a theatre professional. He served as Artistic Director and Board of Directors President for one of Brooklyn's oldest Equity Showcase theatres. There he directing many critically acclaimed productions such as RAGTIME, GYPSY, A FEW GOOD MEN, CHESS and RUN FOR YOUR WIFE. He also curated and served as Executive Producer for the theatre's 50th Anniversary Season which resulted in a 51% revenue increase in ticket sales. Mark is a laid back, confident leader with effective management and interpersonal skills. His primary focus is always to tell the story. He is a very visual director and really works well with actors and designers and knows his way around a budget sheet. Mark is a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and a former member of Actors' Equity Association.
