Originally from Texas, Mark lives in New York City and has been involved with theatre all his life. From the start, directing was his passion. He has almost 40 years experience as a theatre professional. As a freelance director his regional credits include Hello Dolly, Jesus Christ Superstar, High Spirits, Chicago, Children of a Lesser God, Sweeney Todd and Pirates of Penzance. He has directed touring productions in German, Spanish, French and Yiddish. Most recently, he served as Artistic Director for one of Brooklyn's oldest Equity Showcase theaters. There he directing many critically acclaimed productions such as Ragtime, Dreamgirls, Gypsy, Evita, Rent, It Shoulda Been You, A Few Good Men, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Chess, Run For Your Wife, and others. Mark is a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and a former member of Actors' Equity Association.
